missing examples of items in dlcs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.50.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Together and all free stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on any icon of a DLC on the left side of the screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? The items in the DLC (if you haven't bought it) don't show and they are crossed instead.
What do you expect to see? The items should be shown.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I don't remember the patch but I remember that it has been shown before.

It is very annoying to see the crossed pictures thought the problem is probably because of a new patch. The game didn't make this before and it looks like that the new patch was a huge mistake (I will write them later...) and made a lot of bugs.... ☹️

Note: I am playing on Czech language, not Enlish (it doesn't have a option on it...).

    Hi @RexXusLP

    there might be some issues with czech. Do you have blank bubbles instead of text as well ? Do you have the option to change your language to something else and back to see if that helps with the issue ?

    What does the message in red mean ?

    Question 1: No, I don't.

    Question 2: I tried it, but it looks like I can't. (see the picture)

    Question 3: I don't know, if Maxis changed it, but I think it should be black (the red shows, that you are not meeting the requirements).

    PS: Sorry to confuse you, I said I will reply you, but everytime I tried, I forgot it.. ☹️

    OK. doesn't seem connected then Factory Reset

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Only pictures but I have a problem with the map of crime in Go to work!

    When I have it at Sim's home, some wierd textures of wall paints show up randomly. It usually shows only when the camera is at the back first, when it is then in the front of the map of crime, the textures show up. (I am trying to get a picture of the bug, I sold it before I realised I could have taken a photo...)

    @RexXusLP Do you also have crosses in the Gallery ? And just strangerville or all packs ? (just makeing sure)

    Do you have the new pack ?

    1. Yes, it does. It is loading and then crossed boxes show up. (note: I don't know if this is necessary but it worked before). It is wierd that the numbers of how many people playing, how many items are in gallery etc. are working though... 😢

    2. It does it with every expansion, game pack and stuff pack. 

    3. If you mean Island living then no. If you mean whatever pack I got since I posted the bug then yes (Go to work!). If you mean Strangerville then no.
