Missing Task Options for Butler

According to the Vintage Glamour Game Guide there are supposed to be these options for the Butler under the assign task category...

• Assign Tasks – These interactions will encourage your butler to provide entertainment or food on demand. Select “Clean a Dirty Object”, “Repaid an Object”, “Attend to a Minor”, “Play Guitar”, “Play Violin”, “Play Piano”, “Perform Comedy Routine”, “Cook a Meal”, “Cook a Family Meal”, or “Cook a Party Meal” to meet your household’s demands.

Since downloading and installing the new stuff pack and update, I've hired a butler, but when I go to my options for the butler I don't get any of the options listed above. The only options I get are "Use DJ Booth" "Burn up the dancefloor" "Perform comedy routine" and "Prepare bar drink". All of the options I get have nothing to do with the upkeep of my house and are all entertainment based. I'm not sure why I'm not getting the options that are supposed to be under "assign tasks". Is there something I can do to fix this?

    I tried your save and was able to duplicate your issue. TBH, I think one of your mods broke your butler and it didn't correct when removing

    I was able to fix it with these steps

    1. Fire your butler
    2. Move the whole family out and back in via manage world (evict, then move back)
    3. Rehire a butler.

    I still had the dance floor and DJ Booth option but I'm a bit unsure which ones you're supposed to have as I didn't really have a chance to play myself.

    So the save you want to try when the game is open is called "My Saved Game 43".  In terms of files, if you open the saved folder and click to sort it by "date modified" it should be the latest save files in there from December.

    The first time I put my saves back after the test game, I also put the mods back. I just did a test without the mods on my saved game and I'm experiencing the same problems (incomplete task options for the butler, butler not sleeping, cooking, or eating).

    Thank you Crinrect! I'll definitely be going through my mods to see which one could have potentially broke it. I'll try these steps and report back on how it went. It sounds like this will be a sure fix especially if it worked for you. I'm basically missing the basic cooking options and the option for him to play different instruments.

    Thank you so much Crinrict! I'm happy to confirm that taking the steps you recommended fixed my game! I now have all the task assignments available for my butler! I also removed some outdated mods that I don't use anymore just in case the problem wanted to present itself again. I'm so happy my sims can now use their butler properly! I can't say thank you enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
