I have a computer that meets the minimum requirements but it is suuuuuuuuper slow. All that is on it is the Sims 4 with nearly all expansion packs, etc. What are the suggested requirements to make the game play better without lagging and crashing like my computer does?
@savedasims The short answer for a new computer is at least 8 GB RAM; a processor that's Intel Core or AMD Ryzen, two years old or less, and doesn't have a U or Y in its model number; and a dedicated graphics card of sufficient strength: at least an Nvidia 1050 or AMD 560 or better. Those specs will run Sims 4 on at least a mix of high and ultra settings, if not ultra. Plenty of older hardware is fine too, although you wouldn't find it in new systems. And if you have the budget for it, getting better hardware, especially a faster graphics card, can help futureproof the computer for later Sims 4 packs.
