Most Recent Save is TMP file and cannot change

Then there is only the option to load the newest save that was saved successfully.

Click View in the menu. Select to view hidden extensions. After this you will be able to remove the .tmp extension.

Hi, that worked so I can see the file extension, thank you.
However, when I get to the load screen for the game, this is what I see (Capture.png)
when I load that save, the lots all have triangles above them and nothing is loading properly. It loads a state of my game that happened years ago (neighborhood.png)
Is my save unrecoverable?
