motherlode and rosebud money cheats not working

I have tried repairing my game, being in live and build/buy modes everything ive never used mods in my games and have only ever used those two cheats. tey worked fine when I bought the game and after...

    I am having the same problem, but only in Newcrest. Testingcheats true seems to work and so does bb.moveobjects on. I have no mods that alter cheats (no cheat shortcut mods, adding new cheats, etc.). 

    After I used the cheat in other neighborhoods, it worked in Newcrest again.
