Moving Sims 4 to External Hard Drive from C Drive with Low Disk Space

@dancer6heart  You can't actually move the install location of the App, at least not at the moment.

For Sims 4, how much space do you have on C?  The App may be trying to cache the download data on C before actually installing on your external.  If you have at least 20 GB free, it may help to download only the base game first, then install the packs afterwards.
