Multiple devices

Hello.

I would like to know why I can't play Sims 4 on multiple devices. I mainly use my desktop, but I wanted to play on my laptop.

When I tried to open the game, the EA app said:

''You don't have access. This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again.''

I'm the user who owns the game and downloaded it to the device.

What is happening?
