I also have this problem and now i cant unzip my cc and mods. I have a windows 10 can someone help!🤔

8 years agoI have the same problem. They will not show up in my game though. Is there something wrong with my resource.cfg file? I am on windows 10 too

Unless you have edited the resource.cfg file there is nothing wrong with it. You can delete it then start the game. A new one will be created.
The icon on the files have nothing to do with if they work or not. Have you turned on Mods and CC in Game Options?
Please post a screenshot of the contents of your Mods folder in details view.

Your folder seems to be on your desktop, not in your documents, which is a problem. The game will not find the mods if they're in the wrong folder. Please put them in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
