Hello,
My friend downloaded Sims 4 on her Windows 10 Pro (through Steam) everything went smoothly but when she went to play it said unavailable we have tried everything but nothing is working. We also tried downloading Origin but it was discontinued for Windows in October 2022. Any advice would be amazing.

@POOKIEig Please post a screenshot of the error you're seeing, and let me know what country you're in and whether you're using a VPN. Sims 4 shouldn't show as "unavailable" after it's already been installed, but perhaps Steam and the EA App disagree on whether the game is available in your region.

Thank you for your reply I don't have a screenshot of the error but I'm in the US and I know she doesn't use a VPN
@POOKIEig When you get a chance, I would like to see a screenshot of the error just for reference. This error shouldn't happen to someone in the U.S.
In the interim, can your friend try installing Sims 4 through the EA App instead? If she owns any packs in Steam, those wouldn't be available, but that's fine for the purposes of this test. If she sees the same error, the next step would be to try using a different EA account on the same computer.
