My sim as a npc

hi all  i have just started a new game due to issues in previous play throughs, i have just created a new sim and started a new game and while at the library i see myself walking around but its actu...

    If you're using the same game world, it will populate with other NPC Sims that already live there. In your case your previous family are still present. 

    To create a whole new world, instead of the +icon in the bottom right (create new household) click the + in the top right (create new game). 

    This will create a new world from scratch using the default populace.
