Thanks for replying, I did uninstall my expired Norton, and still having issues. However windows defender took the place of my anti-virus on its own.
@vampof9tt Try moving your entire Sims 4 user folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If you can't, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Sorry for the late response, busy week. So okay just moved files onto desktop and game is working with the clean folder

@vampof9tt Okay, so you know that the issue is something in your old Sims 4 folder. It's most likely a mod, so test those first; you can do so in small batches, or use the 50/50 method if you have a lot of files.

When you've sorted through your mods and custom content, you can try adding the contents of the saves and Tray folders. It's better to copy over the files rather than the folders.
