My Sims keep saying something's in the way of using an object.

Hi all, I'm loving the Sims 4, but I keep running into an odd issue, originally my sim would say something is in the way when they tried to bath the dog or toddler, after replacing baths constantly and sticking them in the middle of the room and nothing working, I gave up and moved lot. 

In the second lot I could bath both the dog and the child but they now say something is blocking the hair chair when it clearly isn't. I've never touched a mod, the only thing I've done since buying the game is add expansion packs and keep playing the same save. 

I've tried repairing my game and it still happened, I'm going to try uninstalling/reinstalling now, maybe start a new game, is this a bug or is my game messed up.

    If you played in the same save for a long time, it is possible that it has been damaged.
    Go to Documents/Electronic Arts - inside is The Sims4 folder. Find localthumbcache.package file and delete it.
    Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name.
    Don't be afraid. The game will create new ones but without saved errors.
    Then fix the game
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all your packs, not only the base game.

    Turn on the game and check if you still have this error.
    If it will work properly henceforth save the game option "Save as .. number " - not "Save and Quit" and such cleaning in the game folder do after each patch.
