Neither The Sims 4 nor the EA app launches

When I try launching the game or the EA app it gives me an error. For the Ea app the error note says: "There is a problem with the shortcut and that the 'EALauncher.exe' that this shortcut points to...

    @Virag2001  The first problem to fix here is the one with the EA App.  It could be the only reason Sims 4 isn't working, so resolving it may fix both problems.

    Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  When reinstalling it, don't try to change its location, and definitely don't move around any of its folders.  Just let me know whether it loads properly, and if so, whether you can launch Sims 4 from your game library.
