New laptop for Sims4

Can you please make it so my Acer laptop can play your Sims4 game that i spent money on only to find out that i cant play it on my laptop becuase its not a Windows or Mac. So please either make it so i can play it on my laptop or refund me.....

Hi @Rogeeka,

When buying The Sims 4, you can see that it only works with Windows and macOS Operating Systems. If your laptop runs other Operating System like Linux or Ubuntu, the game won't work. If you bought the game in Origin, you can request a refund here.

If you bought the game on a retail store, you hould contact the store in order to get a refund.

@Rogeeka Is your Acer a Chromebook? If it is Google Chrome OS is not compatible with the Sims 4. These Chromebooks are not very powerful and rely on the cloud. The hardware in the Chromebook is not very powerful and in my opinion would not run 3D graphical games very well if a all.
