New pack in library but not showing as owned ingame

I have bought the Growing Together pack. It is downloaded and in my library but when I was ingame I cannot use a house from the gallery fully as it is missing the pack things. When I checked the list of packs for that house it says not owned. However if I want to build, Growing Together is in my list of packs.

I am unsure how to fix this. Can anyone help?

@carleenpoppy  Try deleting and redownloading the pack.  First, open the EA App game library, click Sims 4, select Manage > View properties, and you'll see the install location:

Open that location and delete the EP13 folder, which is for Growing Together.  Open the Delta folder and delete the EP13 folder there too; this holds patch data.  Then clear the EA App's cache:

Restart your computer, and repair the game again.  Download Growing Together from Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons, and let me know which items, if any, are still missing.

Please don't only judge by Gallery uploads, since those may contain other content you don't own.  Instead, compare the items you see in-game with a published list of content (there are plenty online) for the pack.

  • @carleenpoppy  Are you saying that when you build or buy, you can place items from Growing Together?  If you do place the Gallery build, that is if it places at all, do all the GRO items disappear, or perhaps only the pre-order/early purchase bonus content?

It looks like I have some items from said pack and not others. I have done a repair hoping that would fix the issue and it did not. I am just really confused as why and a little disappointed. I love to build, and explore other buildings other people make, but for example a house I liked in the gallery when downloaded had the brick part of the walls outside but the other plain parts no. Inside some walls are coloured, others again blank.

It worked. You are my angel. Thank you so much. Can't believe I didnt think of the reinstall route, but it's done, I see everything from the pack in my inventory.

    Again, thank you 🙂
