No launch game button inside Origin

Hi! I own the sims 4 base game and several expansions on Origin.  Today I opened origin and when I select the Sims 4 on from my library it only gives me an orange Details button. No play button. Right clicking it only shows a few items like "Show game details", "Game Properties, and "Add to favorites." I tried launching it with the shortcut on my desktop and Origin claims its not installed.  I also tried using the exe file inside the bin directory and still no luck. 

I figured I should try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.  But then Origin still doesn't show an install button! Just the details button!

Unsure if related, I played during the free weekend on steam to test out how well the game was running on steam and to get familiar with how content transferred.  Did origin mess up and think I now own it on steam and revoke my license on my origin account for the base game? Right clicking and going to properties still shows a CD key so I'm not sure if there is a larger issue here :/

TL:DR There's no play or install button inside origin. Only a details button.
