No Mod's file in download?

I had tried installing mods into my Sims 4 game but it ended up crashing the game. So I unistalled the game and wanted to try again. When I reinstalled the game, it ended up downloading diffrent fil...

    @King_Charlz155  You've installed the game into Documents, and the files in your screenshot are the program files. While this setup could technically work, it makes everything more complicated, so it's a good idea to move the game to a different location before doing anything else.  You don't need to uninstall; just open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Move Game, and choose a different location.  The default is Program Files (x86)\Origin Games, which works fine, but you can create a new folder elsewhere if you prefer.

    Once you've done that, launch the game once, then look in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 for a Mods folder.  This Sims 4 folder is where user files are stored, as opposed to the one above which only contains the game's program files.
