None of my sims able to sleep in bed

Hey guys it's my first post so apologies if I do something wrong.

None of my sims are able to go to bed to sleep. When I select sleep they just get the cross above their heads as if they can't reach it. Napping does work however.

I've tried replacing the bed, moving the bed, single and double beds and resetting the sims. Iv'e also tried saving the house to my library bulldozing the lot, moving the family in with others and then placing the saved house back on the lot and putting my sims back in it.  Nothing works.  I tried playing with another family and had the same issue. I first noticed a problem since the last update so I'm wondering if it has to do with that?

Any help would be appreciated because I'm super bored not being able to play.
