Not Gaining Skills points while reading
Any Sugestions on How to fix this?? Ex. My Sims is Lv2 on Mixing, but when reading the book does not gain any skills it just reads like a regular book?

You might need a different book, you have I believe 3 books for every skill. Also mixing at a bar will make your levels go up, you don't have to read to learn something.
