nov 13 update error - won't download or update

I've seen other people post about this but I've been trying to download the Nov 13 update since 5pm est... it's now 9. So 4 hours. The game gets to 9% then gives me a download error message. I've tried restarting everything. I've NEVER had anything take this long before nor have I EVER had anything like this not work. Does anyone have any insight? Again, I've seen others post about this as well so I'm clearly not the only one ☹️ This is truly ridiculous.
