old saves aren't showing up in game as well as my cc

I had previously uninstalled my Sims 4 game on my laptop as it had been taken up some space. But, I decided to reinstall it on the same laptop only for the game not to have my old saves in the game itself and now not showing the custom content that is in the mods folder. I know this is not the fault of the custom content as I have took them out of the folder and onto my desktop to see if they were the problem, sadly they were not. This is now becoming a really annoying issue for me and I don't know what to do as when I look in my saves folder it appears to have tons of saves in there? I am quite confused, please help.

HM, let me see if I can understand this. You previously used OneDrive to play The Sims 4 and now your folders are not syncing to the game?
Well then the game might not be using OneDrive. Copy the saves and Mods etc from OneDrive to C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ (in your user documents)
and see if it works?
Or do you have them in both places now and it still does not work?
Delete the resource.cfg from both folders (the game creates a new one). Start the game, exit the game, and search for resource.cfg on the computer. Does it show up anywhere? Then that's the file directory the game is using 🙂

And yes I do. Though I am not sure what to do now considering it is a different OneDrive account from my previous one on this laptop...

Then the game is using the OneDrive one instead of the normal folders. You can put your mods, saves and tray in the new folder, but that can sometimes cause problems, just so you know. You can also turn onedrive off while playing the sims or telling onedrive not to sync the "documents" folder, and put your own files in folder with a custom name 🙂
Edit:
The account shouldn't really matter, what matters is that the game uses the OneDrive documents instead of your user documents. There are your options:
1. Make sure there's no documents folder in OneDrive
2. Put all your saves etc in OneDrive
3. Turn off OneDrive

If you know your previous OneDrive account information, you can use the OneDrive app (from the store) to change users. Think that would be useful?

I'm afraid none of that has actually worked unfortunately. And I'm not even going to dare do no.1 as it said it would delete those files in the folder on this computer and not onedrive and I can't risk that. I even logged into the previous account and that didn't work. And my saves won't move to OneDrive as they are all the same exact files. I don't think this is just something wrong with OneDrive now. Thank you anyway.

I don't know if this will help or not, but these are the files and the games save and what's apparently in my mod folder. There is only one save in my load games and I checked what folder it is in and it is only one out of the tons you can obviously see in the actually folder.

Apparently I have 3 resource.cfg and they're only in the onedrive folder. Should I move or copy them to the actual document or still delete them?

Did both things, nothing really did move from OneDrive to the folder as they have the same exact files. Still doesn't show the cc I recently installed after I reinstalled Sims 4 as well my sims even though they show up in the folders
