one of my saved games won't load.

It is just one saved game that won't load. I put so much time and effort into it and the sims have earned a lot of reward traits so losing it is painful. The loads and i can load other save files but this one just hangs on the loading screen and never goes into the game. I know this is similar to some other threads but I dont understand the solutions...please help.

There should be files with the same slot number with ver0-ver4 behind. You can try if those load by removing the verX.

Move the corrupted one to your desktop before doing so since you can't have two files with the same name

What is the path to get to those files from The Sims 4 folder? Do I have to unzip something to get there? I am not seeing those files. =(

Ok I found where it is but the particular game i had saved doesn't have those other versions. I did manage to find one that was just 2 days earlier in the same game different family and that solution did work for that one. So I only lost about 2 days of play instead of 3 months. Thank You so much for your help!
About the file location i was looking in the wrong place. instead of going into program files and looking in the sims 4 folder it was in Windows> users> (my wondows profile name)> The Sims 4> Saves

Glad it's solved.

I would make backups to an external drive on a regular basis in case ths happens again. Mabye after every play session.
