only 5 save slots?
unless i create a name for my save, it will get overwritten if i save 5 more times after any given save?? really? shouldn't this save to my hard drive so i should have unlimited saves? and i'm curi...
the point is, this should not be a "Feature" on a pc game that saves to your hard drive.
it is not intuitive or apparent until you've actually become victim of losing saves...
this is something you would expect from an "autosave" limit, not from a manual save.
it is a hassle to name every save.
I'm a bit unsure if I understand your issue. Why do you wanna keep every state of a certain game ? Once you've played on, why would you need the older state unless something important happend at that point ?
I might need to look at this again to understand what your issue is.
i thought my response was pretty clear.
there are countless reasons why you may want/need to revert back to an old save (that you didn't specifically "name" as important at the time. (bug testing this game would be a fine example...)
i'm not asking the game to permanently save the game every x minutes (auto save) and keep a permanent record of those.
i am asking that any time i manually save, it be permanent.
and that manually saving should not require me to name the save in order for it to reach that permanent state.
this is how most pc games work.
thus why all the outrage here with sims 4, when people find out only after they've lost many saves in sims 4 after they learn this game doesn't work like that... for whatever reason... it's just bound to happen to everyone who buys this game.
I'm not native english speaking so sometimes I do have trouble understanding.
So what you're asking for is that instead of just keep 5 vesions (save.ver0-4), you want it to keep every single save you ever made manually, right ? So you basically want save.ver0-infinity.
Then you should post that in the feedback thread here: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/776344/the-sims-4-feedback-thread-come-share-yours cause it's not a bug, it's how it's designed to work.
well can you move this thread to the proper section? rather than having me repeat myself?
