@davina1221 The reason you can't clear Origin's cache is likely because the Web Helper Service is running and using some of the files. Restart your computer, don't open Origin, and try to clear its cache. If that doesn't help, or you have Origin set to open at startup, end the process(es) through the Task Manager. Right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and select Task Manager. Then scroll through the list of background processes looking for anything with an orange Origin logo. If the web helper service is running, end it, then clear Origin's cache.
If Origin still doesn't open properly, clear its cache again, then uninstall it "the hard way" and reinstall.

Uninstalling Origin doesn't remove your Sims 4 program files or your user data. If you want to back up your data though, go into Documents\Electronic Arts, copy the Sims 4 folder, and paste it somewhere else. You can put it back later if you need to, or copy files or subfolders from it into a new user data folder.
