@ToxicmanSK Please go to an ea website, for example ea.com, click the sign-in button, and choose to sign in with your Steam credentials. (There's a little Steam icon you can click on the sign-in page.) Once you've signed in, make sure that the EA account you're in matches the one you've been using to sign into the Origin client. If the two don't match, that's the issue: you need to be signed into the Origin account that's linked to the Steam account that owns the game.
If you are in fact in the correct account, let me know.

@puzzlezaddict I checked, and everything is correct. I have both correct accounts connected.

If you've already contacted Steam support about this as well, we can go ahead and look into getting The Sims added to your Origin account for you so you can access your game there instead. This isn't something that can be done through AHQ as we don't have access to your account details here, so you'll want to reach back out to live support so they can have another look.
