Origin with Sims 4

Question

I've tried downloading Origin on my computer and it keeps saying that I need to download the newest version of Origin which I've done at least 3 times. I need to know if there is any other way to install the disc without having to go through all of this, because this is getting to be extremely frustrating.

Could you post the exact error message you're getting ?

Thanks for replying! The error message is "Your update could not be completed. Please download and install the latest version of Origin from http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe." After I visit that site and do the download the another pop-up says "This version of Origin is already downloaded. Do you wish to uninstall and re-install?" Which I've done 5 times now. I'm beyond frustrated.

Try deleting Origin cache files:&nbsp;http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-origin-cache-files/

Just try deleting the cache files first, then restart your computer and see if you have the same error
