Origin won't go online

I can log in on the main website for origin but not for my games it says origin offline but wont let me click go online I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and now I cant log in at all Im getting really ticked It was working a month ago on the same pc just fine and now its not so I know its not my pc I have changed nothing. I want to buy the new game pack for the sims but whats the point I cant play it anyway and I have yet to be able to talk to someone to help so I have 2 options wait for an answer or give up and let everyone know how horrible origin and EA is  I would rather play my game but I CAN'T. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE AS I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON WITH IT.
