When starting the game, my mouse does not change from my regular PC mouse to the Sims4 mouse, and my click and drag controls are, well, out of control. This makes it very difficult to do anything, including modifying anything about the Sim's face and body in CAS, and rotating the camera (using Sims3 Camera Mode, I haven't tried Sims4 Camera Mode). I've tried updating my drivers, restarting my computer, disabling mods and custom content, turning off Origin overlay, launching in offline mode, verifying and repairing my files (including all the DLC), and have been browsing forums to attempt to fix this. Most of the issues date back to 2016, and I have a feeling this is just an issue with the new November 2020 update that makes the game quite impossible to play.
@ratitty Try disabling any other overlays you have running: Steam, Discord, etc. And leave Origin in-game disabled as well.
If that doesn't help, try playing in a clean boot.
