Packs not downloading or going into download queue

I had to reinstall Sims4 on my computer as I got a new motherboard and reset my operating system, essentially making it a new system. I went and downloaded the base game and most packs I own just fine however for some reason specific packs are not downloading and when I click to set them to download or add them to the download queue, nothing happens.

  • @Littuhljay  Try clearing Origin's cache:

Restart your computer, open Origin, and try to download just one of the packs that didn't work before.  If the download starts, wait until it's done to download the next one.

If that doesn't work, launch the game a couple of times.  Often enough, Origin will start downloading any missing packs on its own once you reach the Main Menu, even if you have auto game updates disabled within Origin's settings.

That fixed it for all but 1 expansion pack, Snowy Escape. Very helpful but not 100% solution. I'll mark it as solution for now because snowy escape could be it's own issue.
