Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game

i’ve just downloaded sims onto my new computer and it is showing that some of my packs have a steam icon beside and some don’t. the ones that don’t have this steam icon are showing up as if i could use them but aren’t working in build mode and have a red X as i try to click on it to grab.

i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled sims on steam, and also uninstalled and reinstalled the ea app from my computer- still no fix.

nobreadzone  Please do a clean uninstall of Sims 4 and the EA App, as described here:

It's not necessary to uninstall Steam itself.  You'll need to reinstall the game through Steam, and the default location is fine, but you can create a new Steam library if you want and install Sims 4 there instead.  If you own any packs directly through the EA App, you can install those afterwards; click Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons to see the option.

I've had this issue since November and doing that method didn't work. I have packs through EA, Steam and Epic so recently tried uninstalling the game and all 3 launchers, then completely reinstalled all of them. My packs say they are downloaded in the EA app. but when I go into the actual game, all my save files say it is still missing 2. Any suggestions?
