  • @6ol8xupo8w4a  This is more than suitable for Sims 4, even on ultra graphics settings and with ReShade and a pile of high poly custom content.  I can't comment on the other games you might be playing, but you'll be able to run Sims 4 as well as it runs on any machine.

You don't need to downgrade the power supply, but since the GPU you're buying only requires 450-500 watts of power (depending on the model), you'd be more than fine with a high-quality 650W model.  You don't mention which brand you're considering, but if you asked me, I'd go with Corsair or Seasonic if either one was available at anything resembling a reasonable price.  This is the single most important component and the only one that can negatively impact absolutely everything else.

Thank you so much for the clarification, the other games I plan playing are Valorant and those 2D games such as Stardew Valley, but since they are not ultra heavy games I think it will run well. As for the power supply I do intend to buy a Corsair one, in my previous build my PSU was a Corsair and it never let me down.

@6ol8xupo8w4a  Great, that's the only question I had about the components.  If you have more questions, please feel free to ask, but it sounds like you're all set with this build.
