Phone stuck to Sim's hands

I am experiencing a curious little glitch. I had a child in my Sims family call a friend with his cell phone, after the conversation was finished the phone remained on his hands and is continuing to persist while he goes on about his day. Ie, clipping through food while he eats, smashing into the keyboard while he plays on the computer, just generally glued to his hand where ever he goes now.

I understand this is no major problem in the gameplay and is not causing the game to crash or run slow (yet). I am just curious if there is a fix for this. I remember seeing a problem like this in previous Sims games but I dont recall ever finding a way to fix the issue without killing a Sim, I'd like to avoid that...

  • Never mind, found a fix to my own problem. For the sake of anyone else who may run into this bug, a simple reloading of the game clears it. Or in my case, the game froze and I was forced to restart it.

Didn't had that yet, only thing that got stuck with me was a text-balloon in the queue list on the lift of me talking with someone and the box on top of your screen when you speak with someone and can see the progress. Both a reload fixed those as well, in case you may have that in the future as well

This is stupid, I spent my hard earned money to buy this game and not even a week into playing there are problems. EA should find a fix for this stupid problems. 80$ for a game should not give you problems after just a week of playing. I dont want to restart the game, i will loose all the progress that i have made and start all over again. I want them to forking fix it NOW
