Problem with launching game, error about video card

Today I have an issue with my Sims4 game.
I have an HP laptop with Windows 7. I played the Sims4 without any problems during the holidays in my laptop. Today I went back to continue, this is what appeared: (note that origin updated automatically)
"unable to start. Can't run the Sims with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specs and that the latest video drivers are installed. "
I checked the Nvidia video card downloaded the updated driver restarted the laptop about three times, issue insists.... Any idea what might cause this and how I can fix it? I haven't changed anything in my laptop not installed anything suspicious or what not. I have windows 7 3g ram.
@GRMirto I played the original Sims the year it came out, so I'm... not as young as I was back then.
The info in the graphics card section of your dxdiag is very much incomplete. That could mean the driver is corrupt, or just that the info is missing because it's an old driver for an older OS and doesn't have all the info I'm used to seeing. But you can try a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver. These instructions were written for Windows 10, but hopefully they work for you too. Let me know if something doesn't, and I'll try to find someone who's better with Windows 7.
First, download Display Driver Uninstaller from here:
In Windows 10, you'd now need to disconnect from the internet to prevent Windows from downloading a new driver, but I don't think that's necessary in Windows 7. Still, there's no harm in doing it. Double-click the DDU.exe. Take note of where the file will land, and click Extract. If it's easier, you can copy the path and then paste it into the address bar in a File Explorer window. Open the folder and then Display Driver Uninstaller.exe, and you'll get a message that you're not in Safe Mode. Click OK, then go to Options and enable Safe Mode dialog. Here's a screenshot of what your options should look like:
Close options, and the DDU, and then open the DDU.exe again. For launch options, choose "Safe Mode (Recommended)," and then click Reboot to Safe Mode (you'll need your password, so find it before rebooting). Once you login, you'll see this:
Choose GPU in the dropdown menu (step one), then Nvidia (step 2) if it's not already showing. Then click Clean and Restart (step 3).
Once your computer has rebooted, now back in normal mode, run the driver install .exe in custom mode. Select "perform a clean installation" and install ONLY the GPU driver and the PHYSX software.
Reboot again and see whether you can launch the game. If not, try a couple of times, then run another dxdiag.
OK now I'm in the step where I need to install the driver in custom mode. I've double clicked on the exe file and I've been waiting for almost five minutes it won't open
