Protest glitch without city living

Just downloaded the Sims 4 a couple days back. Downloaded a bunch of mods and got my household ready, now trying to play the game but clicking on my sim results in lots of popup options of a podium picture. I have the Discover University expansion pack so thought it was to do with that but turns out it's actually an option to protest from City Living. I have not purchased City Living so not sure how this glitch occurred or how to fix it.
