Purple and grey lines on UI

So, my sims 4 is having graphical issues involving the UI, the 3D models and everything else is fine, I can even navigate and play the game if I know where everything is. The thing is, it's hard to know what Sims needs are when the UI is glitching so much. The game does run, it runs pretty decently, I have it in laptop mode at the moment but I'm sure it would run fine without it. It's just I don't understand why the UI is so messed up.

System Info:

OS: Windows 7
Model: Acer Aspire 7741
System Type: x64-based
Processor: Intel Pentium processor P6100
RAM: 4GB

I have a feeling it's my processor, but like I said, the game runs fine, it's just the UI.

Of course, it was made for this computer. But the new driver will not change this card. This will only improve the operation of this card.
All graphics cards require current drivers. No matter what they are called. If there are no drivers for this card on the Intel website, unfortunately, it means that Intel does not support this card anymore.

It isn't a processor, although the processor is a little bit weak. It is a graphics card. It either has no current drivers or is too weak.
For now, reduce all graphics settings in the game to a minimum. These settings can be found in the game options.
But if you could post your Computer's DxDiag here I could say more

Your graphics card driver is outdated. It is 9 years old!
Please download a new driver from here
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
You have a not too much RAM Memory. Your system can work on 8 GB RAM and it would greatly improve playability. Contact computer service if you can add to your laptop these 4 GB RAM.
RAM memory cubes are not expensive.
I hope this will eliminate these ugly lines.

  • It seems that my graphics card was specifically made for this model of laptop, apparently updating the driver might harm the computer. o: I don't think I can do anything about the UI problem if that's the issue.

  • Yeah I looked on the Acer website to see if they have drivers for this specific model and they don't seem to have any, so tough luck for me I guess.
