@joely_connell  Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  If that doesn't work, clear Origin's cache:

restart your computer, and repair again.

You'll still need to replace any items that have already disappeared, unless you revert to an earlier save, but any new ones you use should stick.
