@Jadaw_4  Please set an exception in your antivirus, or Controlled Folder Access if you only use Windows Defender, for TS4_DX9_x64.exe.  This is the game's new executable post-patch, and security software may be blocking it.

@ladykyera999 and @sims4h2d5  Please describe what happens when you try to play, including a screenshot of any error message or other oddity.  And if you have any files in ConfigOverride, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, please remove them.

    Nothing really happens for me. I click the play button and wait and wait and wait and nothing. I have to literally go into task manager to close it down and it shows up in the lower portion of task manager instead of where it usually is in the top portion.
