Re: Cannot launch Sims4, System cannot find file specified

Currently running a reinstall on my game for this very reason. It just started today when I got home from work I couldn't launch the game, it worked fine last night.

Error message: "Windows cannot find the file specified"

I removed all of my CC - Did not fix

Disabled anti-virus - Did not fix

Removed "Sims 4" folder - Did not fix (Doing this caused the EA app to tell me that my game needed to repaired)

Let the game repair (For 3 hours over and over again while I cleaned house) - Did not fix

Uninstalled AVG anti-virus completely - Did not fix

Checked/Updated all drivers - Did not fix

Booted Windows to CMD and ran sfc /scannow - Did not fix

We'll see if a full re-install of the game fixes it, but I'm not hopeful. I think I'm just done with the Sims 4.
