Re: CC Doors and Windows not functional after september 3th patch (2020)
Hi! This just happened when I got the latest update, all windows and doors won't show up in the game. What should I do? I don't want to play without my mods ☹️

The exact thing happened to me!! I've tried E V E R Y T H I N G: updating all my cc, removing all of it, tried repairing my files, updated the game and origin various times, even deleted the game and re-installed it but NOTHING works and it's honestly starting to * me off. What's going on????

Moved your posts into this thread. All CC windows and door were broken with the last patch. Check with the creators to see if they have fixed them.
CC is great but not supported by EA. There is always the risk that it may break when the game is updated. - @Bluebellflora But EA make a lot of money from CC creators and maxis is well lets just face it crap. If I wanted my build to look like a cartoon then I wouldn't use it but I don't so I don't feel I have a choice. Plus for years its been playable so its not fair that after every update we're in danger of years of work going to waste. I support lots of fantastic creators, they're artists and EA not supporting external cc in their updates are actually doing their customers a disservice. At least give us the option of reversing the update so we can play previous versions of the game where our builds are not broken.
EA makes no money for cc. infact all cc should be free after two weeks of its release.
I noticed another bug, some original game doors in the mirror don't reflect the door correctly, we just see the frame but not the door ??

the problem or the question is that the user already has several batches with CCs, he makes a face
So if the original windows and doors bug, how will the user smile again?
What are the answers? not look at the mirror?

not because of a CC@NoxOculis The mirror reflection and the 2 GT WIndows + 1 Door are a game bug that EA needs to fix.
The CC windows/doors need to be updated by the creators (or hopefully a batch fix). Once EA fixes the reflection issue and the cc windows are updated, they should also not have the reflection issue. Chances that EA will do anything about cc windows not working are next to 0.So yes the reflections are a bug, hence the thread is in the bug forum.
