I have the sims 4. I have never played but I realised I need to change my DirectX 12. So if you could help my out with that I will really appreciate it!
@87458752 You don't need to change anything about DirectX. As I mentioned, Sims 4 uses DirectX 9, which will be installed when you install the game itself. You can have multiple versions of DirectX installed at the same time, and a given application will be able to call the version it needs.
By the way, when people talk about switching to, say, DX11 for a given game, they don't mean switching their systems, they mean telling the game to use a different DX version. It's quite difficult to uninstall a DX runtime, and current versions of Windows 10 come with DX12 anyway.
