Re: Download fails after finalizing - The Sims 4

Was your issue resolved? I've been experiencing the same exact issue. Thus far I've configured my firewall and antivirus to allow both Origin and Sims 4 folders and then:

Uninstalled Origin and Sims 4 installs via Control Panel and manually (e.g., Program Data)

Rebooted

Reinstalled Origin as admin

Rebooted

Started Origin as admin, download Sims 4...Finalizing...Download Failed

    @anghang21  Try installing Sims 4 into a different, newly created folder.  You can install it almost anywhere; just avoid Documents and Program Files.  It's also a good idea to install only the base game, and then move onto the packs once the base game installation completes.
