Re: how can i remove all files from pc
@Jaeger-Wrydan Are you referring to the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts? This holds the user data and isn't removed (usually) when the game is uninstalled because people may not want to lose their saves. But you can simply drag it to the trash/recycle bin to get rid of it.
If you'd like to do a clean uninstall of Sims 4, with absolutely no files left in the registry or anywhere else, you'll need an app to remove everything. Here's one way:
- If you do want to keep your saves, put aside your Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts and rename it to something that doesn't include the words "Sims 4."
- Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
- Launch Revo, select Sims 4 from the list, and click Uninstall.
- Once the game is uninstalled, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
- Review the list, in case there's something you want to save; otherwise, click Select All, and then Delete.
- Close Revo, and restart your computer.
