If it is coming up with UpdateTool.exe nott found. you need to uninstall origin use this to guide you through the steps:
It's all right, I found Origin in my Downloads folder, and installed it. Alas, my game would still not play. In Origin, I right-clicked on Repair Game. It verified and installed, and then gave me a chime and the notice that Sims 4 was ready to play. I clicked Play, but still I got the message 'The Sims 4 has stopped working'. Well, what more can I do? I've re-installed the game, re-installed Origin. Should I send my game back to Amazon with a complaint? Have you any idea of what might help? I'm wimpering a bit here.
Did you remove your user files when uninstalling ?
