    If so, it's not a bad choice at all.  In fact, it's the best option I found on either site for under £400.  Given your budget, that's probably the best you'd be able to do on any site, unless you were willing to buy used from Ebay or something.  New laptops capable of ultra settings, at least without any lag, are usually £600 and up, although I did see one on sale for £500 earlier this week.

    This laptop won't run Sims 4 in ultra, but it should run the game on medium-high graphics settings reasonably well, as long as you make sure it can cool itself properly while you play.  (Put books under the corners or use a laptop tray.)  Reducing the in-game resolution would also let you raise other settings a bit, but you can experiment and see for yourself what settings make the biggest difference for you.  At this level, it's not a question of whether the computer will run the game at all, it's about managing the settings (and the cooling) to get the best experience possible.
