Re: Mods wont turn back on? HELP!

All you need to do is rename the folder in documents. Then start the game. A new one will be created. Check if it works.

If it does, you can start putting your old saves back.

  • It made a new folder.. Now do I delete the one that I renamed?
  • and when i reopen it it says it ran out of memory.. thats supposed to happen, correct?
  • not sure how this works.. I selected a photo to share down there... not sure if you can see it, but that is what I did. I think i did it correctly. I renamed the folder and it made anew one. then I go to sims 4 and it gives an error message.

You have some errors with Origin. Could you try reinstalling Origin ?

Also. please post a screenshot of that error message you get now. You should have enough RAM as well as enough disc space.
  • Hello! I uninstalled origin and reinstalled it, then opened the sims. same error message. Here it is:

You should run Microsoft Memory Diagnostics to determine if your RAM is faulty.

  • I dont play too many other games... Not any that aren't on a web browser. But I do have a few other downloaded games and they have no problem at all.
  • Hello. I fixed it by deleting the new sims 4 file and using my backup one cuz i gave up. It now lets me use my mods. Sadly, i accidentally deleted everything in mods folder (other than resource cfg) in a desperate attempt to fix it. I now have no problem reinstalling my mods so thanks for attempting to help me. have a great week

Interesting. Sounds like one of the new files corrupted the game then.

    Thanks for your feedback.
