I removed the mod Road to Fame V. 0.4 G, and that appeared to fix the problem. I'm baffled though, because I didn't think it had custom traits, but maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully he updates it!

    It might have custom traits, you just may not have encountered them. They might be hidden traits too. I had two that used traits that weren't "trait" mods, one I sadly had to get rid of as the author is no longer updating and I can't do it. 8(
