Re: Needs Decaying Too Fast

Hi, just to give you an update, I have no idea what happened but I guess the glitch or bug or whatever it was fixed itself. I didn't take any custom content out or anything like that. I decided to jump back into the game to take a video of what was happening but the needs are acting normal now. Maybe sharing the files did something? I don't know because it seems after I shared my save files with you, the glitch went away. So for now the problem is gone! Thanks for all of your help. If it comes back I will definitely try taking my CC out next time.

    Hi @Heather_Dianne6

    good to hear

moved your thread to the general section and marked as solved.

Feel free to come back though if it occurs again

  • Hi, the bug is back. I had started a new game and when my two married sims got pregnant, the female started to get the issue I had from the other game save. Her needs, especially hunger, deplete way too fast. No matter how much she eats, her hunger bar goes down faster than normal. You know how every bar in the needs section has green and red arrows that show depending on if something is being helped or if something is decaying? Well instead of it being one red arrow to show her hunger is going down, it's two. I have no idea why this is happening again, or why it's happening in a brand new save. I really hope someone else has encountered this so there's a fix or something.

Pregnant Sims will have their Needs deplete faster than normal. That's by design.

  • @Hadron1776 Well it must have been in a new patch or something if it's supposed to be a normal thing because I've been playing the Sims 4 for over a year and a half, and this has never happened to me before. When my sims are pregnant, their needs decay faster than they should, like they need to eat within three hours or less than they did the last time and when they eat it hardly fills the bar up no matter what meal they eat. And sometimes, it happens to the other sims in the household after she gives birth. Trust me, it does not feel like something that should normally happen. I also tried uninstalling all of my CC and it still happens.

If it happens to other Sims who aren't pregnant, then that might be a bug.
