Re: Newest update broke my game

@amandadement  Please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

If you get another crash, please let me know when it happened, for example as the game was loading or when your sim traveled, and how long you'd been playing up to that point.

And if you get a crash, please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Hi, I've had the same issue. Don't use mods, that folder is empty. I completed deleted the EA folder out and still made no difference. Cleared the cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired the game, checked for damaged game files and i still can't find the answer.

My game will load into the main menu but if i click resume game it will just bring up the load game box and just crash there loading. If i click play scenario it will just show loading signs on the new and existing sim options.

Sometimes i can get into CAS but as soon as I'm done making the Sim it will stay on the loading screen forever and not go to the option of moving in the Sim.

I don't know what else i can try. Spoken to EA and they've told me I've tried everything so now I'm at my wits end on what to do?
