@nolagal54 - I did see the screen shots in your 1st post, thanks for the additional info, too👍 I was hoping to see a screenshot of your lot traits (from build/buy)

The reason is there's a reported bug about lot types changing from residential to different types, and sometimes the traits change, too. This could account for things being ok for a while, and then suddenly having an issue. For instance, by design, generic lot types don't have visitors. 

So, when you're able to check, take a look at the lot type & traits, too, just in case this happened to you. Also, if you used the same door as the front door on all of your builds, try deleting them & using a different one. Just hoping to eliminate the particular door from the equation.

    @BlackjackWidow Dumb question.  How do I screenshot the lot traits?  When I do a capture within the game, even though the traits are on the screen, they don't appear in the screenshot.  

    To answer your basic question, the lot is still residential.  I did not set any traits for it and it still does not have any traits.  I tried the door suggestion (bought a new one).  That didn't help.  Maybe I'll try just opening up that wall so that there's a gaping hole there.

    @BlackjackWidow   Just for the fun of it, I built a house on a lot, but instead of placing doors I left off 3 wall segments on the front and on the back of the house.  The maid walked right in.  The welcome wagon walked right in too.  Victor Feng wanted to visit.  He stood on the corner of the lot.

    I'll try to get the lot traits tomorrow.

    That's fun! Fruitcake & cleaning, but no Victor 😉  Seriously, though, it just keeps getting weirder and weirder. 

    @Tkilroy36 is correct - you can change the screenshot settings to include the UI from the Game Menu > Game Options > Screen Capture > Capture UI

    I'm posting screenshots, just because I said I would.  But I'm also happy to report that after the last update late last week, all of the employees are coming into the houses and doing their jobs.  Also, just for grins and giggles, I'm posting screenshots of the guy who was at work, but wasn't at work, who didn't own the restaurant, but did own the restaurant and did all of the management functions.

    @nolagal54 - So glad it worked out. Thanks for sharing the screenshots - you definitely had some interesting things going on in your game!
