She is level 6 a Public Official. At another time I seen it mention something about asking for donations but I haven't seen any interactions for that either.
I think it depends on what side you choose.
The politician might be able to make empty promises with Sims that support the cause.
With charity you can ask for donations:
Not sure if the donation size will change with time or the guide is wrong (which could be as it isn't a EA guide).

Make Empty Promises should be located in the Mischief section of the pie menu. And Ask for Large Bribe only appears once the Sim's Charisma skill is high enough.
